Andrew A. Smith

Mr. Smith is an associate in the firm's Litigation Practice Group.  He defends business interests in lawsuits that result from employment disputes. These can involve contracts or employment agreements, trade secrets, terminations, allegations of discrimination, and a variety of other issues.

Developing strategies that are based on a client’s priorities requires building a positive working relationship between client and lawyer.  Mr. Smith believes that a good lawyer unravels the complex in a personable way, rather than simply talking like a lawyer and mechanically working through a case.

When away from the office, Mr. Smith prefers to be outdoors, active, or both. Before law school, he spent a lot of time playing baseball, and in law school, he took up boxing. He also enjoys volunteering and playing with his Rhodesian Ridgeback.
