Robert B. Hinckley, Jr.

As head of the Messner Reeves Los Angeles office, Mr. Hinckley has represented a variety of clients in all phases of complex civil litigation in state, federal and administrative courts throughout California, Colorado, Florida, and other states. 

As a member of the firm's Litigation Practice Group, Mr. Hinckley's practice focuses on several areas, including complex commercial disputes, business torts, intellectual property, real estate, and construction. Mr. Hinckley also specializes in the defense of clients in insurance-based matters to include professional liability (architects/engineers; real estate professionals and attorneys), employment practices (discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination), general liability (premises liability, wrongful death, restaurant and hospitality, bars/nightclubs) and specialty risks. Mr. Hinckley also serves as general counsel for several small businesses. A former prosecutor, Mr. Hinckley has first-chair experience in over forty jury trials.
