Steven N. Levine

Mr. Levine serves as outside general counsel to several start-up and middle market clients providing ongoing legal advice to company management and boards of directors.  Mr. Levine represents private and public companies, holding companies, private equity and venture capital funds, investment advisors, sponsors and entrepreneurs in a wide variety of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings (public and private), debt and equity financings and corporate restructurings.

Mr. Levine also has acquired significant experience representing entrepreneurial restaurateurs in the Denver metro area as well as nationally.  Mr. Levine understands that a successful restaurant not only requires excellent food and service but also requires strict intellectual property protections, a functional corporate structure, savvy lease or real property purchase negotiations, timely obtaining permits (including liquor licensing) and proper employment procedures.

Prior to joining Messner & Reeves, Mr. Levine was an attorney in the Denver office of a multi-national law firm and practiced in the securities and corporate groups.
