Messner Welcomes Our Five 2010 Summer Clerks.

Please help us welcome our 2010 Summer Clerks aboard!

Danielle Felder is currently a student at The University of Colorado Law School and completed her undergraduate degree at The University of Denver. She is class president of The CU Law School and also secretary of The Black Law Student Association. Danielle recently volunteered for Referendum I, the initiative to increase diversity awareness of same-sex couples through outreach and education efforts.

Katy O’Brien currently attends The University of Colorado Law School. She completed her undergraduate degree at Princeton. While attending Princeton she played second team all-Ivy League Women’s basketball and was on the league championships team in 2006. In the spring of 2009 she was a volunteer tutor at Arapahoe High School, and is currently a Member of the Environmental Law Society and Women’s Law Caucus.

Andrea (Wee Yeong) Ahn’s missionary parents raised her in Korea, Paraguay and Suriname until the age of nine when she left her family to seek an education in the United States. She is currently a student at The University of Denver Sturm College of Law, and completed her undergraduate degree at George Washington University. A recipient of the Robert B. Yegge Memorial Scholarship, Andrea is also involved in the Colorado Bar Association, Colorado Mountain Club, and was United States Lacrosse member and player for the Atlantic region as well as Colorado.

Gale Monahan is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs and now attends The University of Colorado Law School. He has been active in the community working in the Staff Judge Advocate’s office (JAG) for the Colorado National Guard since August 2008. He has also served as both an Air Force and Army officer in Arizona, Colorado and Iraq; and is currently training for the 2010 CrossFit Games.

Leanna Ajour Young is attending The University of Denver Sturm College of Law and holds her undergraduate degree from the University of Denver. Proficient in Spanish, Leanna is a member of the Whitehouse Project, a Pioneer Partner, and works with Catholic Charities Childcare.
