Support Our Troops
At Messner & Reeves we recognize that the safety and security of our community is assured by the men and women of the United States armed forces. The Messner Foundation has therefore established an education scholarship for sons and daughters of United States Military Academy graduates who lost their lives serving our country.
Bryant S. “Corky” Messner, the firm’s founder, is 1979 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point who served in the U.S. Army as a Ranger and Infantry Company Commander. Corky leads the firm’s efforts to support our armed forces.

The Fisher House program is a unique private-public partnership that supports America’s military in their time of need. There is at least one Fisher House at every major military medical center to assist families in need and to ensure that they are provided with the comforts of home in a supportive environment. Annually the Fisher House program serves more than 10,000 families and have made available nearly 2.5 million days of lodging to family members since the program originated in 1990.
This Fund is working with the U.S. Special Operations Command Care Coalition to identify individual soldiers who have exhausted all other means of support. This Fund was established for U.S. Army Rangers in recognition that many wounded and disabled need assistance putting their bodies and lives back together.
It is not all about work.
Because we recognize that at Messner & Reeves, we make available to all of our staff and clients a remarkable opportunity to relax and unwind at Friends' Haven, a comfortable home resting on the edge of Lake Wentworth, in The Town of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, the oldest summer resort in America.
