Deanne R. Stodden
Partner
Ms. Deanne Stodden’s practice encompasses all areas of real estate law, business law, banking law and creditor’s rights. The majority of her legal career has focused on the representation of large and small financial institutions and other creditors in residential and commercial foreclosures, loan workouts, deficiency actions, bankruptcy matters, evictions, replevins and real estate-related litigation. Deanne has significant experience negotiating and documenting loan transactions involving real estate. She drafts and negotiates leases, license agreements, and other contracts and enjoys working with small businesses and entrepreneurs on entity formation and organization documents. In addition to her work, Deanne is active in the legal community and is a frequent author and speaker on a variety of real estate law and creditor’s rights topics. Deanne is a fellow in the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL) and currently sits on the Colorado Bar Association Title Standards Committee Deanne is an At-Large Director for the American Legal and Financial Network (ALFN) where she also serves as the Chief Governance Officer. Deanne is the Managing Editor of the Colorado Bar Association/CLE Colorado Real Estate Practice books and collaborates with the other authors annually to teach the pre-eminent course in real estate law to lawyers, paralegals, and others. Most recently, Deanne is a faculty member at the University of Colorado Leeds College of Business in Boulder where she teaches Real Estate Law.
