Daniel J. DeLay

Mr. DeLay is an associate in the firm’s litigation group, focusing primarily on general civil litigation. While attending the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, Mr. DeLay clerked at the firm’s Denver office. During his tenure at the University of Denver, Mr. DeLay participated in the Civil Litigation Clinic representing indigent clients in housing and protective order issues. Mr. DeLay also had the honor to intern for the Honorable Judge David Richman of the Colorado Court of Appeals.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. DeLay was a Criminal Defense Investigator for the Colorado State Public Defender. In this position he investigated a wide range of cases including homicide, securities fraud, assault, and sexual assault. At the Public Defender, Mr. DeLay developed the skills that will assist him in advocating for his clients in the civil litigation setting.

Mr. DeLay is a Colorado native, growing up in Conifer. In his free time, Mr. DeLay enjoys traveling, snowboarding, and watching the Denver Broncos.
