Friend's Haven

It is not all about work. . .

and because we recognize that at Messner Reeves, in addition to providing a warm and friendly work environment, daily healthy snacks, and opportunities to serve the community, we also make available to all of our staff and clients a remarkable opportunity to relax and unwind at Friends' Haven, a comfortable home resting on the edge of Lake Wentworth, in The Town of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, the oldest summer resort in America.

What is Friend’s Haven?

It is a place where you can relax and unwind and get the best sleep you have ever had.    It is a place for peaceful gatherings of friends where everything seems to just take care of itself.  Sitting on the dock at night, you can listen to the loons and watch for shooting stars.  During the day, visitors take advantage of local trails and bike paths to explore Wolfeboro and the surroundings.  Lake Wentworth and nearby Lake Winnipesaukee offer visitors opportunities for boating activities and fishing.  And for those interested in bird watching, Stamp Act Island, a 1,000 acre Nature Conservancy property in the middle of Lake Wentworth, is a refuge for birds, animals and plants that inhabit the Lake Wentworth watershed.

The recreation, relaxed atmosphere, and local beauty all contribute to a fabulous experience that culminates in ‘the lake effect’ . . . restful nights that inspire and reenergize the visitors to Friends' Haven.

Friends' Haven: Giving back to our local Community

As part of our commitment to the community, we also donate Friends' Haven to local non-profits to use as an auction item in their fundraisers.
