Kate A. Bailey

Ms. Bailey is a civil litigation attorney whose practice focuses on complex civil litigation, including the defense of healthcare professionals and entities involved in professional negligence and liability claims. Ms. Bailey has extensive experience in all aspects of civil litigation including taking and defending depositions, successfully drafting and arguing dispositive motions, including appellate briefs, negotiating favorable resolutions, and representing clients in seven jury trials in both federal and state court.

Ms. Bailey also provides risk-management advice to corporations, and her public relations background makes her uniquely qualified to assist in crisis management.

While in law school, Ms. Bailey worked as a judicial intern to Justice Christine Durham of the Utah Supreme Court and as a senior editor on BYU’s law review. Ms. Bailey also won BYU’s Linda B. Anderson Trial Advocacy Competition two years in a row.

Outside of the office, Ms. Bailey is a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado’s Mentor 2.0 program at Sheridan High School. Ms. Bailey can also be found enjoying a run or hike on one of Colorado’s beautiful trails, discovering new podcasts, spending time with her dog, Olive, or trying to conquer Denver’s ever-growing list of great brunch spots.
