Mark B. Schellerup
As head of the Las Vegas office, Mr. Schellerup handles a wide variety of civil litigation, including construction, products liability, premises liability, transportation and personal injury litigation. Mr. Schellerup is an active trial attorney and litigator in the State and Federal Courts of Nevada and California and has successfully argued before the Nevada Supreme Court as well as in the California Appellate Courts. He is an arbitrator and mediator in Clark County District Court and until recently served as an arbitrator, mediator and judge pro tem in Santa Clara Supreme Court.
Mr. Schellerup has received Martindale Hubbell’s top AV rating for the past 20 years and was named to Vegas Inc.’s Top Lawyer List, 2013. He is an active member and lecturer of the Defense Research Institute, Clark County Bar Association, Las Vegas Defense Lawyers Association, and the Nevada State Bar Association. In addition, Mr. Schellerup is a member of the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California, California State Bar Association, and American Bar Association.
Born November 20, 1957 in Hong Kong, Mr. Schellerup attended the University of Florida and received his undergraduate degrees in political science and economics in 1979. He thereafter attended and graduated from the University of Florida, School of Law in June, 1983. Mr. Schellerup was admitted to practice in Florida in October, 1983, California in May, 1984 and Nevada in January, 2000.
