Mark Levy

Mark Levy is Intellectual Property Counsel at Messner Reeves. Before joining the firm, Mr. Levy served as head of the intellectual property group at Hinman Howard & Kattell in Binghamton, New York, principal attorney at Mark Levy & Associates, PLLC, formerly Salzman & Levy, in-house counsel for Pitney Bowes Inc., General Electric Co., United States Surgical Corp., and IBM Corp.

Mr. Levy is also a contributing editor for Videomaker magazine and the online publication, Ragazine.cc. He has also contributed articles or letters to The Bulletin of Atomic Scientists, The New York Times, Skeptical Inquirer magazine, Symphony magazine, The American Orchid Society Bulletin, The Mensa Bulletin, Lefthander magazine, The Baker Street Journal and the Journal of Irreproducible Results. He is a contributing essayist for the public radio show, Weekend Radio, hosted by Robert Conrad.

He is the President, Binghamton Imaginink, Inc. (Invention Convention); former director of the Broome Community College Foundation, Planned Parenthood of South Central New York; Binghamton Innovators Network; The Magic Paintbrush Project; First Night International; and Binghamton Philharmonic; former president of the Central New York Patent Law Association; the Society of American Independent Inventors; and the Amateur Movie Makers Association; and former chairman of the Mensa International Name & Logo (Trademark) Committee.
