Matthew J. Wendt

Matthew J. Wendt is an associate attorney in the Silicon Valley office of Messner Reeves, LLP. Matt works in the firm’s Litigation, Real Estate, Construction Law and Insurance Defense Practice Groups. He represents clients in a variety of civil litigation matters including real estate litigation, construction law and defect litigation, business litigation, personal injury, automobile liability, products liability and premises liability.

Matt received his Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law. While in law school, he was a judicial extern for the Honorable Katherine Lucero of the Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara. Matt received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, San Diego.

Matt volunteers in his community. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Morgan Hill Community Foundation. He serves as a Commissioner on the Parks and Recreation Commission for the City of Morgan Hill. He was appointed to the General Plan Advisory Committee, which provided guidance on development, land use, growth and economic development for the Morgan Hill 2035 Project.

Matt lives in Morgan Hill with his wife Marilyn and three children.
